Sustainability goals were evaluated with internal and external stakeholders at BARÜ

At the Advisory Board meeting held at Bartın University (BARÜ), opinions were exchanged with internal and external stakeholders and the steps to be taken with the goal of sustainable development were evaluated.

Representatives of academic units, students, graduates, managers from public institutions and organizations, representatives from non-governmental organizations and industrial organizations attended the Advisory Board Meeting.

Rector Uzun, accompanied by statistical data and visuals; including the number of academic and administrative staff, departments and programs, number of students, technical and physical facilities, project activities, education-training, career activities, relations with graduates and stakeholders, studies carried out for social benefit, social responsibility projects, next year's plans and targets. made an informative presentation. In his presentation, the sustainable development of BARÜ from past to present was presented with national and international data and the demands and suggestions of the participants were listened to.

In addition, the ongoing processes for the research and development center planned to be established in 2024 in BARÜ, which supports R&D studies with the motto of 'Productive University', were shared with the participants.

Emphasizing that the cooperation and contributions of stakeholders are extremely important for sustainable development, Rector Uzun said, “At our University, where we aim to raise strong generations of the future with qualified studies, we place the concept of 'quality' at the center of all our work. We care about the opinions of our internal and external stakeholders with a focus on sustainable development, and we continue to grow stronger in cooperation with institutions and organizations in our region.
